Clinical Social Workers for Social Justice and Human Rights (CSW-4-SJHR)is a national and international community-university grass roots organization for clinical social workers and their supporters. This includes but is not limited to interested stakeholders, such as practitioners, consumers, academics, researchers, community organizers, policy advocates, in community and/or university settings. It mission is to advance human rights and social justice through the practice of clinical social work. Its purposes is to articulate and demonstrate the multifaceted ways in which clinical social workers engage in social justice and human rights thought and practice. It also serves as a resource for professionals and consumers to gain information and to generate research and practice ideas to improve clinical social work’s response to advancing social justice and human rights.
